Summer Reception at Bebenhausen Monastery 2010

 On July 30th the d.a.i. hosted their annual summer reception at Bebenhausen Monastery. Over 400 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening. Hermann Strampfer, Chairperson and President of the Regional Government of Tübingen, greeted the guests, and US Consul General Edward M. Alford from Frankfurt/M. and Cord Soehlke, Director of Planning for the University Town of Tübingen spoke words of welcome. Long time members were honoured and the d.a.i. was awarded a certificate of quality. Afterwards the Clarinet Quartet of the United States Air Forces in Europe Band gave an excellent concert before the guests capped the evening with food and drinks in the cloister. |
