 We mourn for Tobias Hiller, University Music Director.
Because Tobias Hiller, University Music Director, passed away, the lecture “Neue Welt – neues Glück? Veränderungen in der amerikanischen Gesellschaft in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts" on July 13th 2010 and the concert "Aus der Neuen Welt – in die Alte Welt. Werke von Aaron Copland, George Gershwin und Antonin Dvorak" on July 18th 2010 are cancelled. ... more
 Summer Reception at Bebenhausen Monastery 2010
On July 30th the d.a.i. hosted their annual summer reception at Bebenhausen Monastery. Over 400 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening. Hermann Strampfer, Chairperson and President of the Regional Government of Tübingen, greeted the guests, and US Consul General Edward M. Alford from Frankfurt/M. and Cord Soehlke, Director of Planning for the University Town of Tübingen spoke words of welcome.
