"The Testaments“ is the powerful standalone sequel to Margaret Atwood´s modern classic "The Handmaid´s Tale". Atwood adds an additional dimension to the previous story line. Three females with fundamentally different experiences of the regime cross paths, resulting in an intense situation, ready to escalate at any point. While the sequel answers some of the reader’s questions, it also leaves room for interpretation.
