8.10.: Mary Doria Russell – The Women of the Copper Country (2019): The novel focuses on a mining strike in Northern Michigan in 1913 as seen
mostly through the eyes of the women of the town.

12.11.: Ocean Vuong – On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous (2019): On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous is a letter written by a man named “Little Dog” to
his mother. In his letter, he recounts memories from his childhood, living with his grandmother and psychologically unstable mother after the family
moves to the U.S. fromVietnam.

10.12.: Charles Yu – Interior Chinatown (2020): Interior Chinatown tells the story of Willis Wu, an actor of Taiwanese descent who struggles
against clichéd roles and stereotypes, both at work and in his personal life.
