About the Camp

Once again, the d.a.i. is hosting the 1-week-long Adventure Camp, a great combination of fun, the outdoors and learning English. During the week, the participants will take day trips to different spots all around the region of Tübingen. Some highlights are the trips to the water falls in Bad Urach and Stand Up Paddling on the Neckar. Other destinations are the Umweltbildungszentrum Listhof in Reutlingen, the Botanical Garden in Tübingen and the Nature Museum in Reutlingen 

Discovering new things is always thrilling. Due to the fact that most of the camp’s activities take place outside, the participants will get to know nature and its biotope better.  

In addition to the daily English lessons, the camp boosts the particpants’ speaking skills in a fun and playful way. This will also deepen the knowledge they acquire during their trips.

Our teachers are all U.S. American native speakers that will teach the kids all the necessary vocabulary before the trips. Additionally, they will speak English with them in a casual manner throughout the day.

Service

• all-day supervision by experienced U.S. American native speakers and their German speaking assistants

• daily combination of English lessons and natural history lessons

• the entrance fees, teaching materials and travel fees are all inclusive

• on rainy days: games and English lessons at the d.a.i.

The particpants will need a lunch package and a bit of pocket money.

Guided tours, e.g. through the natural history museum in Reutlingen, might take place in German but will be discussed in English at the end
