You enjoy being on stage but you just cannot remember long passages of text?
Then, our new Improv Theater Camp might be the right thing for you!
This camp allows teenagers (14-17 years) to try out improv theater and to be on stage in a free and easy atmosphere. It also opens up a more positive and playful way to improve their English skills.
The supervisor will be our d.a.i. language teacher Sarah Taylor from Oregon, who has extensive theater experience. With her help, the teenagers will get to know a form of drama that is free from any pre-written dialogue and mindless memorizing.
Improv theater stimulates creativity, strengthens self confidence and gives teenagers the chance to overcome their inhibitions regarding the English language and being on stage. The skills that they acquire will also help them improve their communication skills.
At the end of the camp, the teenagers will perform a 30 minutes Improv Theater Show for friends and family.
