Mit den d.a.i.-Silent Reading Partys sollen für einen Abend im Quartal alle Filmadaptionen, die Bewertungen, Video-Snippets und Fandoms in den Sozialen Medien ignoriert werden. Tauchen Sie gemeinsam in fabelhafte Geschichten in der gemütlichen Bibliothek des Deutsch-Amerikanischen Instituts ein. Bringen Sie eigene Bücher mit oder leihen Sie welche in der englischsprachigen Bibliothek aus. Egal ob angenehme Hintergrundmusik oder Stille, Sofa, Sessel oder großes Kissen: Für jede*n ist etwas dabei! In Vorbereitung auf den Independence Day (4th of July) wird die Bibliothek in “Red, White and Blue” geschmück t und es gibt ein fes tliches Buffet mit Knabbereien und Drinks.

Bring your own books or borrow some from our English-language library. Whether it’s pleasant background music or comfortable silence, a sofa, armchair or bean bag, there’s a relaxing reading corner for everyone. In preparation for Independence Day (4th of July), the library will be decorated in red, white, and blue, and there will be a festive buffet with snacks and drinks.
