Hands-On Workshop, Cooking & Tasting with Heidi Leonard, Freiburg. Sustainable cooking, what does that mean? It begins with what you choose to put in your shopping cart! Our diet and food choices are a significant part of everyday life, so if you are asking yourself how you can make a positive impact on the planet look no further than your own dinner plate! Together we will reflect ways that we can contribute positively to a food system that is equitable and sustainable. Beginning with a short lecture and then cooking and enjoying a sustainable and fair dinner together, we will have the opportunity to consider practical ways that we can lessen our ecological impact and increase fairness for our global producers, while continuing to enjoy delicious and nutritious high quality foods.

Heidi Leonard grew up in California and has been living in Germany for the past 26 years. For the past 15 years she has been teaching sustainable cooking.
