What’s happening around the world—and what does it have to do with us here in Germany?

Together with human geographer Jessica Strain from New York, we will explore current topics from National Geographic, looking at their global impact and discovering how they connect to our own lives. From environmental and social issues to cultures, places, and people around the world, the course will give you the chance to discuss, question, and share your own ideas.

And it won’t be all about reading! Alongside texts and articles, we’ll work with audio recordings and video clips to make the topics more varied, engaging, and fun to explore.
