Our library is the centerpiece of the d.a.i. and offers a large range of media for readers of all ages. It is always worth a visit!

Order media before your visit to the library:
Due to the number of visitors being limited, media can be ordered for check-out in advance. Please contact us by telephone (07071/79526-16) or by e-mail (Bibliothek@dai-tuebingen.de) and let us know which media you would like to check out (exact title and author). Please don’t forget to communicate your name and library card number.
You can use the online catalog to get further information on media and their availability.
Please give us one day to get your media ready for check-out; we will then reserve them for three days, and you can pick them up at the circulation desk. Please remember to bring your library card.

We offer tours for school classes, d.a.i. language course participants and other interested groups.
We are happy to introduce you to our institute, and to our library with all its offers in particular. If you have any particular interests, please let us know in advance so that we can take them into account during the tour.
Depending on your preference, we can also show you particular offers, such as our databases, in more detail.
After the tour, you can search for literature on particular topics, check out media, work by yourself in the rooms of the library, or just look around.
The tours can be done in German or in English.
