The German-American Institute Tübingen promotes dialog and friendship among Germans and Americans as well as other nationalities in Tübingen and the world.
Tübingen without the d.a.i. is like fries without ketchup. You can eat them, but you miss the typical seasoning from the big American melting pot. I congratulate the team on 60 years of successful work in the service of German-American friendship and look forward to many more activities together. (Boris Palmer, Mayor of Tübingen and Assistant Chair of the d.a.i. Executive Committee)
The German-American Institutes are important institutions, because we need the people-to-people contact for mutual understanding. Europeans and Americans need to learn about each other before they start criticizing. (John C. Kornblum, Former U.S. Ambassador)
