Our library is a place of encounter, learning and inspiration – a place that connects people and keeps stories alive. But special spaces like these cannot be taken for granted. They thrive on the community that uses and supports them.

In recent years, we have done everything we can to make our library services as accessible and affordable as possible. Despite rising costs, we have deliberately kept annual fees low. But we are now facing challenging times: Public funding is being cut and our institute is struggling to survive.

After careful consideration, we now have to make a decision that is not easy for us: we will have to adjust our prices in 2025. This step is necessary so that we can continue to maintain the library in its usual quality. Please see this adjustment not only as a fee, but also as your personal contribution, which will benefit us all. Your support helps us to keep the doors of our library open, promote reading, organize cultural events, and continue to be a home for a thirst for knowledge and exchange.

Discount (students, trainees, volunteers): 10 €

Children & teenagers (up to 18): free of charge
