The United States and Germany not only share a long historical and cultural tradition, but also common values, interests, and goals. In order to celebrate and promote the German-American partnership in the fields of culture, business, politics, art, language and education, a „Germany Year“ is currently taking place in the US. The project, which is named "Wunderbar Together", lasts from October 2018 until the end of 2019. It is funded by the Federal Foreign Office. Via "Wunderbar Together", 200 actors from the fields of politics, education, culture, industry and science are involved in various projects and events which aim to aid in strengthening the transatlantic dialogue between Germany and the USA.
