Dozent: Michael Paolillo

This course is designed to help those writing in English.

The best academic writing is clear and concise. It is the writer’s job to digest the information and present it in an accessible form for the reader. That is exactly what we will work on in this course. The teachers, Michael Paolillo and Renée Hartig, are both from New York and are published authors in academia.

This is a project-based course. You can bring some writing that you are currently working on (thesis, paper, application, job interview preparation) or we can make a plan together for some future work. Because people have deadlines and are busy, the class will take place over the weekend. This will allow for team discussions and fast improvement of your English writing.

We will prepare a checklist for the participants to judge your own and other participant’s writing.
This will help you to clearly see where your strengths and weaknesses are.

The class is targeted for people who are self-motivated and eager to improve their English writing.
